Feedback, Privacy, and Support Boundaries

If something here is confusing, broken, or unexpectedly helpful, here is the clearest way to reach out and the clearest version of what this site does and does not do.

Feedback welcome

If you spot a broken link, a monster that sends you to the wrong next step, a printable that does not print cleanly, or a page that feels confusing on a low-energy day, that feedback is useful.

If you write in, the most helpful note is:

  • the page URL
  • what you expected
  • what happened instead
  • device or browser if it looks like a display issue

Privacy notes

This is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages.

  • There are no user accounts.
  • There are no on-site comments.
  • Newsletter and shop waitlist signup forms are the only on-site forms. They ask for your email address and submit it directly to Buttondown, the third-party newsletter service that stores and processes the subscription. The shop waitlist uses the same Buttondown list as the general newsletter, so signing up may also send you occasional tools and rituals between deck updates.
  • Newsletter submissions are configured with referrerpolicy="no-referrer" so the browser should not send Buttondown the specific page path you were reading when you subscribed. The Buttondown link in the form also uses rel="noopener noreferrer" to avoid sending referrer details when opened. Buttondown may still receive normal request metadata needed to process the signup, and its own privacy practices apply after submission.
  • Two browser-side preferences are stored in localStorage:
    • dd-theme — your low-stim theme choice.
    • dd-consent — whether you have accepted or declined analytics via the consent banner.
  • Analytics: we use Google Tag GT-PJ4PKQMZ to load Google Analytics 4 destination G-4BBWE83NT3 with IP anonymisation. The Google Tag only loads after you click Accept analytics tag on the consent banner; declining keeps it off. You can reset your choice any time by clearing dd-consent from your browser’s site storage.
  • Consent scope: accepting the analytics tag grants analytics storage only. Google Consent Mode defaults and updates keep ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization denied.
  • We do not load Google AdSense or any other ad network on the site.
  • If additional Google Tag destinations or tracking uses are added later, this page and the consent banner will be updated before or at the same time.

Support boundary

This project is a practical companion, not therapy, crisis support, diagnosis, or medical care.

  • Use the toolkit for recognition, gentler self-understanding, and one workable next step.
  • If you are in crisis or need urgent mental health support, use local emergency or crisis resources and qualified care.
  • If a page stops being helpful, you do not need to force the metaphor to fit.

Public use and sharing

You are welcome to read, share, and link to the project with attribution. Licensing and commercial use still follow the terms in the project license.
